Thanx a million!

I have to admit I'm very grumpy sometimes and I also have to admit than I've been really disappointed sometimes but the lack of echo about the blog so I HAVE TO admit again than I have had a very important number of thank you and congratulations for this article in "Sud Ouest"...
I even forgot to thank Dave, Flavio, Spenny, Niels, Manu, Ian S, etc and I'm sure I'm still forgetting some fellow splinters. Without the Splinters there's no meeting with JC, with Simon, with Niels, with Wigzy, with Kevin A, with John Hellier, with Mark Baxter, etc...It's me who have to thank now! And of course, without Weller there's not that first parcel, a long time ago, I've sent in the south with a VHS copy of the Brixton Academy gig! So keep on keepin on!

The Cornershop in the national French Press. (300 000 ex a day). Yes, I have to admit I'm proud of it...

Paul Weller, His fans, the mods and their blog:
Rock Icon Paul Weller is the main subject of the wonderful Yann Viseur's blog. The blog is about Mods music. Very long time fan, this editor columnist (who's also a musician) tells in his blog, with a very sharp accuracyevrything about the cult sixties band: Who, Kinks, Small faces. Photos, videos, news, everything is here. Most of the time in English, nice look, he writes with a real journalism rigour. Sharp but excellent. ***/****

Thanx to all the friends who helped me, help me. JC, Simon Cooper, Mike C, Mike E, Etc! ;)

Paul Weller has married for the second time in a romantic, intimate ceremony in Italy.

The 'Wake Up The Nation' hitmaker wed backing singer Hannah Andrews in the idyllic island of Capri last week, after the pair decided to elope with just a few of their closest family members and friends to pledge their love for one another. A source told The Sun newspaper: "Paul didn't want a public wedding. He and Hannah agreed to just invite a select few family and friends.

"They didn't want to make a big deal about it." The 52-year-old singer and Hannah - who is almost 30 years younger than Paul - have been dating since late 2008, and got engaged back in April this year.

The pair met when Hannah provided vocals for his 2008 LP '22 Dreams', and then toured with him and his band. Their romance started shortly after Paul split from his partner of 13 years Samantha Stock, who he has daughter Jesamine and son Stevie Mac with. Although he is happy with Hannah, Paul has previously revealed how difficult it was for him to leave Samantha. He said: "Splitting up was f***ing hard as well. But at the end of the day, I've fallen in love with someone else. "You can't live a lie. You have to follow your heart."

Hannah is not the only backing singer Paul has been married to. His first wife Dee C. Lee - who he has two children with - sang with his former group The Style Council. They married in 1988 and divorced in 1994. Paul also has another daughter, Dylan, from a previous relationship.
