I have to admit I don't really know him but the man of mystery, JJH, talked to me about this guy as "Sam Cooke and Smokey Robinson wrapped in a white body" and as a "gas". Impressive. Nice or what? ;) New LP out now.
Simon Franklin about James: saw him support Van Morrison last summer, in the open air. Brilliant, a mixture of Sam Cooke, a little bit of Ska, definately some Van in there too!
