B.Right.on! Paul Weller: 'I Love The Shops & Attitude Of The City. Yeah, Brighton, I'll Have Some Of That!'

Having made a contemporary and urban sounding record, with this year's Wake Up The Nation (WUTN), Paul Weller's current live set is also heavy on the urban left-field sound that dominated The Jam's Sound Affects.

Weller, who plays the Brighton Centre later this month, had a 'no acoustic guitars' rule when he and fellow collaborator and producer Simon Dine came to record WUTN.

Weller says that his most recent material has got 'a kind of swagger and an anger to it, a lot of the things we think were missing.'
