The New album - Time For Change - out on February 12th 2011
THE FACE, SOUND & MIND OF 2011.

On a few very special moments in UK rock music a young band emerges, blinking into the daylight, fully formed, fully focused, with a strong work ethic, a large fan base, & songs to die for. This four piece band, still all in their late teens, oozes talent & charisma with an extraordinairy flare & musical ability, so rarely seen in the industry’s past except for a few very special exemptions, such as THE SMALL FACES, or THE JAM.
Hailing from the industrial north-east, Middlesbroughs’ finest, THE MASTER COLONY take the first big step on the road to the very top with the release of their debut album on 208 RECORDS, entitled ‘TIME FOR CHANGE’.

The bands guitarist, lead singer & songwriter, Alistair Sheerin, formed the band seven years ago, as a precocious 12 year old. He was joined along the way by co guitarist & vocalist Joe, bassist & harmony vocalist Lewis. Drummer Adrian was the last to join, supplying the instantaneous drive & powerhouse feel the band needed. Add to the mixture some breathtaking harmonies, with inventive playing, this band is tipped to go far, packing venues all over the country in a punishing gig schedule which the boys not only take in their stride, but relish as a chance to broaden their audience, with much respect gained at every gig from punters of all ages.
