Here`s what happened . Gilbert was doing a live interview on the Robert Elms show promoting his new `Best Of ` album and upcoming tour . Unknown to Gilbert , Paul Weller was in the building and when he discovered Gilbert was in the studio he couldn`t resist popping in to pay a little tribute to the great Irish singer/songwriter . A nice moment for Gilbert - to be acknowledged by a fellow musician as respected as Paul Weller .
