I was joking about Helen Turner ! BUT ....I do wonder what she is doing now. The BEST bass player...now that's a debate. He's had some very good ones over the years. Maybe, there are one or two tracks they have all played on to compare.
Yes, A true deabte, any bass player who played with Paul had to be good anyway. Weller's bass lines are not so easy!Anyway, she was very groovy and funky for the soul era, don't you think? Best! :) Will try to find the Helen Turner's trace. She was great keyboardist and she even made string arrangements. Not a single woman since a very long time in musicians' crew!
